GREAT SHOOTER AND ICEMAN

Vasily is the Baskets topscorer and has an important role in coach Glinickis system. Thanks to his great reach the fabulous shooter is hard to defend from the outside as well as under the basket. But even if the calm Russian puts it in from the half court, he remains cool. That’s why we gave him the name ‘Iceman’.

In the past he played for RSB Thuringia Bulls and in the last season for Russian team of Krilya Barsa, but lately he wears the number six in Hamburg. Also wheelchair basketball is relatively new to Vasily. The driving skills of the AB with a past as professional basketball player is incidentally comparable with his German – sometimes a little rough. But driving gets better and better.
