A Documentary about Friendship, Wheelchair Basketball and Life-changing Moments

Fourteen and a half collisions tells the touching story of the wheelchair basketball player Asael, who was victim of a terrorist attack as a child. As he is travelling to Germany to play for an international team, he meets the Iranian player Ali. Regardless of personal fears and religious differences, an extraordinary friendship develops, which is subjected to many tests on and off the field. For Julian from Hamburg, the world of wheelchair basketball is completely unknown until one day he wakes up in the hospital unable to move his legs. With the help of sport, both manage to develop new courage to face life and to break through seemingly insurmountable boundaries.
